Healthy Kids Learn Better State Program

The HKLB State Program is Oregon's coordinated school health program and provided the initial impetus for the development of the Cadre. HKLB is a statewide effort to help local schools and communities form partnerships and reduce physical, social and emotional barriers to learning. HKLB administers the Cadre's contract within DHS.

Bogli Consulting

Bogli Consulting is a education consulting business that supports schools, districts, nonprofits, and departments of education and health across the US. Bogli Consulting provides administration and fiscal support for the Cadre.

Oregon Department of Education

The Oregon Department of Education provides meeting space and marketing support for Cadre trainings.

2010 - 2011 Funders

Our funders are a diverse group of nonprofits, state agencies and foundations who are committed to providing professional development for educators in Oregon. Grove and Packard Foundations

The Cadre is a partner in the WISE project, funded by the Grove and Packard Foundations. Through this project, the Cadre is providing professional development on comprehensive sex education in several school districts including standards and assessment, mapping and alignment and curriculum trainings. Other WISE partners include the Oregon Department of Education, Department of Human Services, Planned Parenthood of the Columbia Willamette, Planned Parenthood of Southwestern Oregon and the Cascade AIDS Project.

Oregon Dairy Council

Nutrition Education Services/Oregon Dairy Council is a non-profit nutrition education organization that develops web and print resources for educators, health professionals and consumers. The Cadre is currently offering trainings to high school teachers on their Pyramid Plus curriculum.
