Leading the Way on LGBTQ Inclusiveness in the Classroom
At the annual Cadre retreat October 23-24, Molly Franks, MPH, from the Multnomah County Health Department delivered very timely professional development on creating inclusive classroom environments for LGBTQ and gender-nonconforming youth. We know that most health curricula are not designed to meet the needs of these youth, but the Cadre is committed to providing participants at our trainings with information and skill-building to support LGBTQ and gender-nonconforming youth.
