Healthy Kids Learn Better

Healthy Kids Learn Better Partnership (HKLB) is a statewide effort to help local schools and communities form partnerships and reduce physical, social and emotional barriers to learning. Our vision is that all youth in Oregon are healthy and successful learners who contribute positively to their communities. HKLB consists of three distinct partners:

• The HKLB Cadre, which provides professional development to health educators on evidence-based practices and curricula. Go
• The HKLB State Program, which provides technical assistance to education and public health partners on the Coordinated School Health Model. Go
• The HKLB Coalition, which engages in policy advocacy to support the health and wellbeing of kids, youth, and schools. Go
